2022 Interview of Ray Dubé by Pat Braden

Ray Dubé, from Plamondon had moved to the NWT with his family when he was a teenager. He has since returned and lives in Lac La Biche. But in the summer of 1967, he had an opportunity to play in a band on the Centennial Barge. As part of the Centennial celebrations, this northern showboat, consisting of two 115-foot house barges, which travelled from Hay River to Tuktoyaktuk (located by the Arctic Ocean), and then returned to Yellowknife.
