Wagon Trek - Michigan Migration (2nd Wave)

When the 1st wave left Morinville in July 16, 1908, they left some group members with their kinfolk, until they had built some homes in the new settlement.  In the fall, Joseph Plamondon, Jean-Evangeliste Plamondon, Olivier St-Jean, and Anthony St-Jean returned to bring them to Plamondon. 

Using the Athabasca Landing/Lac La Biche Trails, the Wagon Trek left Morinville on Oct 7, 1908 and arrived in Plamondon on Oct 17, 1908.

Thus, this 2nd wave of USA immigrants formerly from Québec, consisted of 25 individuals (2 men, 8 women, 15 children – 10 years old and younger).  This count does not include the 4 drivers.
